Q: Can I store my cast iron outside for extended periods of time?
A:
Extended exposure to wet conditions may cause rust and unnecessary wear and tear. We recommend storing your cast iron indoors after use to help it last as long as possible and to avoid the need to purchase a replacement. This item is not meant to be stored outside for long periods of time.

Q: Do I need to season my cast iron before using it?
A:
No, our cast iron is pre-seasoned and ready to use.

Q: How do I re-season my cast iron?
A:
To re-season your cast iron, thoroughly wash your cast iron with dish soap and water. Once dry, apply a thin coat of cooking oil to inside and outside of all pieces. Place oiled pieces on top rack of oven, and place a baking sheet on the bottom rack to catch possible oil drips. Bake at 160°C for 45 minutes. Let your cast iron cool completely before removing from oven to prevent burn or injury.

Q: Where is Barebones cast iron made?
A:
Our products are designed in Salt Lake City, Utah, and manufactured by trusted facilities in China.

Q:Why are your products manufactured outside of the U.S.?
